For admission to the University of Shafa Tameer e Milat’s MBBS and BDS programmes, an applicant must fulfil the following requirements.
For a PhD
A minimum 3.0/4.0 CGPA on the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required for PhD applicants. Those using an annual system cannot have divisions lower than 1.
The candidate must have earned passing grades in the MSN courses nursing theories and biostatistics.IELTS-Academic requires a minimum score of 6.5 and a minimum score of 6 in each component.

BDS
The candidate must have taken scientific courses in high school.
Intermediate (FSc pre-med with a minimum score of 50%).

Shifa College MBBS 2023-2024 Admission Requirements
- Candidates must have earned at least 60% in their FSc pre-medical coursework.
- According to PM&DC passing standards, students must also pass the MDCAT Test.
- For international applicants, the minimum qualification and MDCAT criteria are also the same; all they need to do is produce an IBCC certificate of equivalence (this requirement also applies to those with A-Levels).
- All applicants must provide scanned copies of their HSSC or equivalent and SSC or comparable transcripts.
- CNIC scanned in full (front and rear)
- Passport-sized image that was scanned (1 MB size, JPEG format), on a white backdrop.
- Candidates from other countries must additionally show documentation of their foreign permanent residency.
- MDCAT result scans or foreign MCAT scores are sent to international applicants.
- There is also a 2000/- rupee non-refundable application processing fee that must be paid.
Previous MDCAT Result Validity
- The MDCAT-2023 minimum score required for MBSS applicants is 55%.
- The MDCAT result that is achieved must be valid for three years and be usable throughout the whole nation.
- MDCAT scores from the previous year are no longer accepted for admission to the MBBS 2023 session.

Shifa College Admission Interview 2023
Shifa College of Medicine admission success requires a face-to-face interview. Students must present in the interview with their parents on the day of the fee submission. The interview will be conducted by the college’s MBBS faculty. After the merit list is displayed, the interview for admission to Shifa College will be held shortly after. There is no exemption to the requirement that students bring their parents with them to the interview.
