Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates applying for the PN Cadet program in the Pakistan Navy must meet certain eligibility criteria. The age limit for service candidates is between 17 and 23 years. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum height of 5 feet 4 inches.

In terms of educational qualifications, candidates should have passed both Matric and FSc or O/A Level examinations. They must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in any of the following subject combinations: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry; Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science; or Physics, Mathematics, Statistics.

For students who have completed O/A Level examinations, an equivalence certificate is required to be submitted. As for FSc Part-II appearing candidates, they can apply if they have obtained at least 65% marks in Part-I. However, they must provide a hope certificate from the head of their respective department or institution.

These criteria ensure that candidates possess the necessary educational background and potential to succeed in the PN Cadet program of the Pakistan Navy.

Pakistan Navy Online Registration Slip

The Pakistan Navy has made the Online Registration Form available on its official website at www.joinpaknavy.gov.pk. Interested candidates can also click on the provided link to access the form. The Online Registration will be open until 21st May 2023.

To apply, candidates should visit the prescribed link and navigate to the Online Registration Section. They are required to fill out the form with accurate and complete information. After submission, the Pak Navy Registration Slip will be uploaded on the same portal for reference.

The respective Pakistan Navy Recruitment and Selection Center (PNR&SC) will announce the entrance test date through the official website. The entrance test will be conducted in a computer-based format or e-testing. The test will cover various subjects, details of which will be provided by the Pakistan Navy.

The selection process for candidates applying to the Pakistan Navy as PN Cadets involves various tests and evaluations. These include:

Intelligent Test:

This test assesses the cognitive abilities and problem-solving skills of candidates.

Academic Test:

The academic test covers subjects such as English, Mathematics/Physics, and General Knowledge to evaluate the candidate’s knowledge and understanding in these areas.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an initial medical interview and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) at their respective Pakistan Navy Recruitment and Selection Centers (PNR&SCs). The PET consists of the following activities:

Running:

Candidates are required to complete a one-mile (1.6 km) run within 8.30 minutes.

Push-ups:

Candidates must perform 10 push-ups within 2 minutes.

Sit-ups:

Candidates must complete 10 sit-ups within 2 minutes.

Chin-ups:

Candidates need to perform 2 chin-ups within 2 minutes.

Only candidates shortlisted based on merit will be called for further tests and interviews at the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB). Medical examinations of ISSB-recommended candidates will be conducted at the nearest Combined Military Hospital (CMH) or PNS SHIFA. The final selection will be made by Naval Headquarters based on the candidates’ merit.
