Physical Standard:
- Only male candidates’ chest measurements need to be 33″ x 34 12″ inches.
- Candidates for male positions should be at least 5′ 8″ tall.
- Candidates must run one mile in either seven minutes or ten minutes for men and one mile in either ten minutes or seven minutes for women.
- Candidates for female positions should be at least 5’3″ tall.
- Additionally, male candidates must pass chin-up, push-up, and reach-up exams.
- A driving test is required of applicants for Driver Constable.
Rules For Ex-Army Men:
- At a minimum, education should be Matric.
- Chest measurements should be 33″ x 34 12″.
- 5′ 8″ should be the minimum height.
- As stated in the Police Rules of 1934, age must be less than 30.
