The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority, an independent and self-governing body, is in charge of managing the state’s water and energy supply. It was established by a Legislative Act upon independence in 1958.
The major dams in Pakistan are owned by WAPDA, which also actively oversees and controls the needs and wants of Pakistan’s domestic and commercial sectors. In order to fulfil the expanding demands of the electricity sector, it also intends to develop five additional multipurpose dams.

This WAPDA Internship Program is available in a variety of fields, including mass communication, computer science, civil engineering, electrical/electronic & mechanical engineering, and computer sciences.
This internship programme lasts for eight weeks. There are 50 vacant opportunities in all. Rs. 20,000/- per month will be offered to selected interns. Applicants must be recent graduates. The maximum age permitted is 26 years old.Applicants from Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, and Ex-FATA are welcome to apply for this internship programme.
