Eligibility Criteria

Male and female candidates who have completed their matriculation with a science and DAE are eligible to apply. Only qualified applicants between the ages of 17 and 21 may apply for this position.

• Matric with Science (at least 2nd Division)
• FSc (with Physics and Mathematics) and DAE pass candidates will be given 10% weightage.
• Age Limit: 17 to 21 years as on 5th April 2023

POF Artisan Training Scheme Details

According to the requirements of the 1962 Apprentices Ordinance, the chosen candidates will receive 18 months of training at the Pakistan Ordinance Factories Institute of Technology (POFIT) in Wah Cantt.

The selected individuals will also get a monthly stipend. On the POF website, the monthly stipend is also outlined in detail. During the training, the craftsmen will receive complimentary uniforms and office supplies.

The employer is not required to provide the apprentice with employment under the terms of the Apprenticeship Regulation of 1966. The POF requirements allow for the placement of a small number of successful top apprentices in BPS-5 (Skilled Worker) on the basis of merit. Also, there will be a provincial quota for immigrants.
